John Marshall High School Hockey Association is a 501(c)(3) non profit association that operates the club sport of hockey at John Marshall High School. John Marshall competes in the Open Division of the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Hockey League (PIHL). The school won the Nailers Cup and the Open Division championship in 2010-11 in the PIHL.
John Marshall operates as a “Co-Op” team in the PIHL. Co-Op teams, with league approval, can partner with other schools to join enough players to form a team for the league. Currently JM has a Co-Op with St. Clairsville High School and Central Catholic of Steubenville. The school has also had Co-Ops with Bishop Donahue, River High School, Bellaire St. Johns, and Magnolia High School and could possibly Co-Op with other schools with league approval.
John Marshall prides itself in trying to grow the game of hockey. We are entering our 10th year.
Players in 9th through 12th grades are eligible if a student at John Marshall or one of our Co-Op schools. Our coaches for this season are head coach Anthony Evick and assistant coach “Henry” Wilson.
