Tim Bits is a WAHA house league for children who were born in 2011 or later (ages 4 through 6) or beginners. Tim Bits will skate one scheduled day a week and will be broken down into two groups. This is a learn to skate, have fun program designed to teach basic skating and maneuvers.
Welcome 2017-2018 Timbit players & parents!
Just some information you should know to start out the new hockey season.
Welcome Timbit players & parents!
As commissioner of Timbits I would like to introduce Dick Riley, who has been associated with WAHA for several years. He is very much dedicated to this sport with a deep love and passion for it. And my name is Jennifer Hastings, a former player for WAHA, and currently have my own children involved in WAHA. We both enjoy working with children in teaching them the basic skating and stick handling skills. We like to have fun while learning the basic fundamentals of skating and stick handling.
Rental equipment is available through Play It Again Sports.
(If renting equipment you will still need to purchase your own stick, skates, mouth guard, and socks which can be purchased at Play It Again Sports or another store of your choice.)
If you are purchasing your own equipment here is a list of what you need:
Helmet (with protective cage)
Mouth guard (attached to helmet)
chest protector/shoulder pads
You can contact either one of us with questions that you may have. We are happy to help.
